16/17     NOTICE OF MEETING.

Public Notice of the Meeting was taken as read.

 

16/18     APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE.

Apologies were accepted from Clr Bampton and Clr Murgatroyd.

16/21     PLANNING APPLICATIONS.

The Committee considered the following planning applications:

 

Planning Application No. 2016/91949 – prior notification for erection of agricultural building at The Stable Block, Rosewood Mill, Wilshaw Road, Netherthong for Craig Anderson.

 

RESOLVED:     The Council supports the application.

 

Planning Application No. 2016/92027 – erection of a single storey extension to side and rear, alterations to existing garage to form garden store and associated internal and external alterations at 51 Tinker Lane, Meltham for Mr & Mrs Greenwood.

 

RESOLVED:     The Council supports the application.

 

Planning Application No. 2016/92149 – erection of first floor side extension, conversion of garage into habitable accommodation and single storey front extension at 21 Moorlands Rise, Meltham for G Fleming.

 

RESOLVED:     The Council supports the application.

 

Planning Application No. 2016/92178 – erection of extensions at 27 Moor View, Meltham for A Swan.

 

RESOLVED:     The Council supports the application.

 

Planning Application No. 2016/92203 – demolition of existing dwelling and erection of three detached dwellings with integral garages at 65 Colders Lane, Meltham for Colders Lane Developments Ltd.

 

RESOLVED:     The Council supports the application but asks the developer to improve the public footpath at the rear of the properties, e.g. tarmac.

 

Planning Application No. 2016/92216 -  Erection of two storey and single storey rear extensions at 55 Heather Road, Meltham for H Farrand.

 

RESOLVED:     The Council supports the application.

 

16/22     WORK ON TREE PRESERVATION ORDERS (TPOs)

The following applications were noted:

- 2016/92160 - Work to TPO(s) 61/93 at 7 Hall Close, Meltham  for M Rudkin.

- 2016/92165 - Work to TPO(s) 50/95 at 20, Seymour Walk, Meltham for C Pennington.

 

16/23     CORRESPONDENCE AND DECISIONS TO NOTE.

- Appeal decision for Royd Farm, Royd Road, Meltham – appeal dismissed.

 

The Clerk advised of the following recent decisions:

- 2016/91241 – demolition of existing garage and erection of two storey side and single storey rear extension and bay window to the front at 8 Colders Green, Meltham – granted.

- 2016/91267 – erection of single storey rear extension at 5 Matthew Grove, Meltham – granted.

- 2016/91144 – erection of single storey rear extension and raised patio at 150 Wessenden Head Road, Meltham – granted.

- 2016/91571 – erection of two storey extension, front porch, conversion of garage / store to living accommodation and erection of rear decking at 129 Huddersfield Road, Meltham – granted.
