For many it was not the gift itself but the opportunity to enjoy meeting other residents at the ‘pop up’ cafe. Bewleys, a Meltham based coffee roasting firm very kindly supported the event by providing a professional barista for the whole day serving a selection of delicious coffees, hot chocolate and teas. Town Councillors served those who came along with cakes and mince pies and listened to any concerns that residents raised. Residents who wanted to were also invited to complete a quick survey telling us about the issues that matter to them. The event was very busy throughout the day and enjoyed by everyone who came along.
