Meltham Cricket Club – £3990.80 towards the purchase of a roller.
Meltham Sports & Community Centre – £10,000 towards the refurbishment of function rooms.
Meltham Over 60s – £500 towards the Scarecrow Festival
Meltham Over 70s Gift – £522.50 for the Christmas Gift of £2.50 to residents over 70.
Meltham Churches Together – £400 towards Carols in the park
Meltham Bowling Club – £10,000 towards resurfacing the paths around the green.
Meltham All Blacks – £500 towards a new football kit and a first aid kit.
St Bartholomew’s Church – £1009.20 towards clock tower repairs, (previously granted in 2009/2010 as part of the £10,000 grant award).
Friends of Meltham Greenway – £20,000 towards a skate park in Broadlands Recreation Ground. NOTE payment not yet made.
Meltham Baptist Church – £5000 towards a new boiler and woodworm treatment.
2010 / 2011
Meltham Cricket Club – £700 towards new bins for the cricket ground.
Meltham Environment Ltd – £600 towards the upkeep of Hey Doorstep Green.
St James Church – £350 towards a Meltham Churches Together event – Carols in the Park.
Pennine Highflyers – £600 towards the set up costs of a new troupe.
Residents of the parish aged 70 and over – £580 as the Over 70s Christmas Gift.
Meltham Memories – £1000 towards marketing and advertising costs involved in promoting the 1940s weekend in the village, (payment not yet issued).
Meltham and Meltham Mills Band – £4500 towards new instruments.
Meltham Sports & Community Centre – £4000 towards the provision of hot water for the clubs showers used by all sporting bodies.
Calmlands Allotment Association – £4402 towards the set up costs of the new allotment site.
Meltham Methodists – £275.00 towards a new fridge, (the building is used by other organisations other than religious ones and so the provision of a fridge is essential for the many events which are held in this building, e.g. Friend to Friend Luncheon Club etc).
2009 / 2010
Colne, Holme and Dearn Valley for the Blind – £200 towards a Christmas Meal Celebration.
Meltham Environment Ltd – £450 towards maintenance costs of Hey Doorstep Green.
St Mary’s Church, Wilshaw – £3000 towards a new boiler, (Note – Church is used for community events as well as religious ones).
Meltham Pre-school Playgroup – £10,000 towards new premises, (Note – payment not issued until remaining funding obtained for the project and work completed).
Meltham Sports & Community Centre – £5,000 towards grounds maintenance equipment.
St James Church, Meltham Mills – £8617.72 towards new flooring, fire doors and radiators, (Note – Church is used for community events as well as religious ones – in particular the pre-school group).
Meltham & District Civic Society – £280 towards the printing costs of the Meltham Way leaflet.
