Jean commented the following about the event:-
“I attended Greenacres on Saturday afternoon along with two other Councillors and what a good turn out there was to this event.
There were plenty of craft stalls, a Tombola and Raffle stall, refreshments and entertainment to boot! The lounge where a male singer was performing was packed, standing room only. He sang a repertoire going way back when and I knew all the words!
Cllr Varley commented that I should book a room there immediately!
Another enjoyable event although a little bit sad this week as I saw a lady whom I know well, who now has dementia and doesn’t recognise anyone.”
Sounds like it was a great event, all be it tinged with a little sadness regarding her friend, but I am sure she is getting the best care possible.
