To help plan your visit to the park it may be helpful to note that the area of the park by the church is likely to be subject to access restrictions today while some large trees are felled. Tomorrow and Wednesday the area to the left of the access pathway closest to the terrace of houses on Meltham Mills Road is likely to be affected due to felling operations. On Thursday the area around the band stand and pond is likely to be affected with further trees being felled but if everything goes to plan that should be the end of the major felling operations in the park. The following week contractors will be on site much of the week completing the necessary works – further details of any disruption to access will be available on the Councils website early next week.
