This work is essential to improve the resilience and safety of the network and will be carried out in phases across a large geographical area. The breakdown below summarises the activity for the planned power cuts:
- August – 7 locations completed
- September – 17 locations planned
- October – 4 locations scheduled
- TBC – 2 locations still in planning stages
Customers affected by planned power cuts will receive personalised letters detailing:
- The nature of the work
- The specific date and times their power will be turned off
- Guidance on how to prepare and contact us
They will provide at least 10 days’ notice for each planned event we conduct, along with engaging with the community where possible.
