As part of the week-long fundraising challenge, BBC Look North presenter Amy Garcia and Lindsey Burrow will be walking across Yorkshire while pulling the iconic red Look North sofa. The challenge runs from Monday 9 November to Friday 13 November, with the pair covering a series of routes of more than 15 miles each day to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
West Yorkshire Route
Day Four of the challenge will see Amy and Lindsey take on a West Yorkshire route from Meltham to Holme Moss, setting off from Meltham at approximately 9.00am.
Their route through the town will follow:
- Station Street
- Holmfirth Road
- Millbank Road
- Knowle Lane
Residents, businesses, schools and community groups are invited to line the route, cheer on the walkers and help create a memorable welcome as the challenge makes its way through the area.

The challenge aims to raise vital funds for projects supporting children and young people across the UK, while highlighting the communities that make Yorkshire such a special place.
Come Along and Show Your Support
Whether you’re able to join the route for a short distance or simply wave from the roadside, organisers are hoping to see as many people as possible come out to support the team as they pass through Meltham on their journey to Holme Moss.
Good luck to Amy, Lindsey and everyone involved in this fantastic fundraising effort for BBC Children in Need.
